AAPI Club is one of the many clubs at Woodside. They meet every A-day Monday in B-18 to celebrate Asian and Pacific Islander culture.

Asian American Pacific Islander Alliance Club (AAPI Alliance Club) is a club at Woodside that brings together the Asian and Pacific Islander community to celebrate Asian American heritage.

“I founded the club to create an Asian community and to get to know more Asians at Woodside,” AAPI Club President Tessa Niu said. “I didn’t know many Asians and I thought creating this club would allow me to meet more of them.”

Each club meeting introduces an Asian country and culture that members learn about with different activities.

“My favorite meetings have been celebrating Diwali and making sushi and spring rolls,” Niu said “We even celebrated the Chinese New Year,” Niu said.

AAPI Club meets every A-Day Monday in B-18. There are snacks and fun activities at every meeting.

“People should join [the club] to learn about Asian culture and to join the community between Asians on campus. Everyone is welcome,” Niu said.
