After a tough 0-30 loss to Menlo Atherton on March 3, the badminton team is back with vengeance.

Picking up their third win against Hillsdale on March 15, they are ready for the rest of the season.

Some big games coming up are Sequoia on March 17 and Menlo Atherton on April 12.

“I’m personally excited for Menlo Atherton because most of my old friends go to Menlo Atherton,” Kian Sharifzadeh, a sophomore on the team said.

Sharifzadeh got to see some of his old friends and he is hoping to beat them next time. The sport  is very fun.

“Yeah I’m excited to play,” Sharifzadeh said. “It’s a fun game and I like the atmosphere and I’m always competitive, which makes it more fun.”

Along with being good at the game the team has a strong bond.

“I’ve made a lot of friends and they’re super chill and fun to hang out with,” Sharifzadeh said. “I like my coach too, he always pushes me to do well and he’s really nice.”
