Come to Winter Formal on February 11, from 7:30-10:30 PM.

Woodside’s signature colors black and orange will be modified to the blues and yellows of Vincent Van Gogh’s iconic Starry Night painting On the evening of February 11th, 2023.

Starting at 7:30 PM and stretching until 10:30, students will be immersed in the Starry Night experience: Woodside edition. Ticket sales from January 30th to February 3rd will be $25 and increase to $30 from February 6th to February 10th. Students will enjoy an evening of snacks, refreshments, and dancing!

We will be focusing on the starry aspect of the theme,” sophomore president Emma Funge said. “We’ll be decorating with silvers and blues, and putting up balloons and stars.”

Students must be off the no-privileges list to attend. If a student is on the no-privileges list due to an outstanding library fee or detention, they must pay it or serve it as soon as possible before buying a ticket.

To invite a student from another school, students must fill out a guest application form. Applications can be picked up at D-7 and must be turned in to the student’s AVP before February 7th.

“Come to the formal; it’s our first dance in the New Gym,” Emma continued. “Invite your friends, there will be good music and good snacks.”

Buy your ticket to the dance while ticket prices are still low, and get up and Gogh to the winter formal!
