Woodside’s Filipino Club

Make sure to come to Filipino club in D3 every other Monday.
The Green Grove
Make sure to come to Filipino club in D3 every other Monday.

Check out the Filipino club to learn more about Filipino culture, which meets every other Monday in D3.

“During our meetings, we’re introducing Filipino culture like our language,” Dean Cunanan, Woodside senior and Filipino Club President described. “Sometimes we try to give away some food, which is Filipino food, as much as we can, to let people know… how beautiful our culture is.”

The Filipino club is working to bring more people into their club.

“My advice [to someone who wants to join our club] is don’t hesitate; you could be not Filipino [and] join,” Cunanan said. “You can just hang out and there’s no mandatory attendance. It’s not by prior commitment… just drop by to say hi.”
