“Young Latino Leaders is a club that focuses on promoting higher education to Latinos, and all students at Woodside high school,” Juan Carlos Prado said. “We also provide counseling in the sense of students helping other students.”
No club stays the same, including the Young Latino Leaders Club. They have expanded every year since the start of their club.
“The club keeps growing every year. We have different college field trips [as well as] different activities planned throughout the year,” Prado said.
Prado believes more people should join the Young Latino Leaders club because you’ll meet new people and make new friends. Young Latino Leaders club meets in A-5 during lunch on Tuesdays.
“Everyone in the club is really nice [and] outgoing. Everybody wants to support each other,” Prado said.
