The boy’s soccer team is off to a great start this season. With a big win against Sequoia, they are excited for what’s to come.
After winning 3-0 against Sequoia on Friday, January 7, the players’ season is far from over.
“We are going to play MA, and they’re pretty good,” Pierce Musladin, a sophomore on the varsity soccer team said. “And then San Mateo is also supposedly very good.”
The team will play Menlo Atherton on January 26 and San Mateo on Wednesday, January 12.
While tough games are ahead, the future of Woodside boys soccer is bright.
“The JV [team] is also very good,” Musladin said. “They have a lot of solid players, and they’re probably going to do very well. I’m excited.”
With high scorers like sophomore Hugo Gallegos, who has scored seven goals, the team is excited and ready to win.
“Our team saw a lot of good players, and I think we’re going to do very good this season,” Musladin finished.
