Girls tennis is tied with Menlo-Atherton for first place in the Peninsula Athletic League, but hard matches are still to come against Carlmont, Burlingame, and Menlo-Atherton.
“We are tied for first place in our league… We played four league matches and we won all of them, which is awesome,” Woodside senior Daisy Koch, captain of girl’s varsity tennis, said.
Last year varsity tennis got third place. Despite playing few games, they finished with a winning 4-3 record.
“Last year we got third place in our division. Just because of COVID We didn’t play that many teams but we were still doing really well,” Koch said.
