HOFSTRA UNIVERSITY– Trump and Clinton debated in six segments relating to national affairs through their naive behavior in late September.
The debate was more of a playground dispute than a presidential debate. Between both candidates, the need for the moderator, Lester Holt, was necessary.
“That line’s getting a little bit old. I must say,” candidate Donald Trump stated in regard to his opponents accusations.
Each candidate had two minutes to answer the question provided by Lester Holt. After both candidates answered the question, they were able to debate with each other over the pressing question of interest given by Holt.
The candidates, Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, started the debate with respect, however it turned into a juvenile argument as the “students” interrupted and distracted both each other and the “teacher”.
“I have a feeling by the end of this evening, I’m going to be blamed for everything that’s ever happened,” candidate Clinton expressed.
The comments by both Clinton and Trump were aloof, ill-advised, and callow. There was slight tension between both candidates as they cut off and amended each other.
The presidential debate in the 2012 was more organized and less frivolous; this debate had been much different from what America had seen in the past. The debate between President Obama and candidate Romney was orderly and professional unlike the chaotic debate that occurred between Clinton and Trump.
“Now, in all fairness to Secretary Clinton, yes, is that OK? Good. I want you to be very happy. It’s very important to me,” candidate Donald Trump sarcastically clarified.
