In an especially competetive year of college applications, Woodside students are still getting accepted to prestigious and ivy league universities. Despite how low acceptance rates have dropped compared to the previous years, Woodside has maintained high numbers for the district.

Lacrosse is making a name for itself in the Bay Area, especially at Woodside High School. Primarily thought of as a preppy rich kid sport, lacrosse is becoming mainstream as it continues to gain popularity in public high schools. Personally, I have just started my fourth year playing for my high school’s team.
Over 224 million viewers watched the trailer on the first day alone.
